At Sequoralab, we believe AI should enhance human thinking, not replace it. Every tool, workshop, and strategy we deliver is built around a Human-in-the-Loop model — where people stay in the driving seat, and AI plays a supporting role.
Our approach is guided by five principles:
1. Human Oversight First AI supports, but never substitutes, human judgment. Every AI-assisted output is interpreted, refined, or challenged by a human practitioner, facilitator, or team — including in live deep tech and research commercialisation settings.
2. Transparency & Clarity We’re upfront about when and how AI is used in our services, whether that’s in co-creation, ideation, or analysis. Participants always understand what the tools can and can’t do.
3. Ethical Boundaries by Design We actively consider the risks of deploying AI in innovation work — particularly around bias, accessibility, and unintended consequences. Fairness and autonomy aren’t afterthoughts; they’re built into how we design engagements.
4. Sustainable AI Use Sequoralab uses inference-based AI models hosted by third-party platforms. We don’t train or host energy-intensive models. As the landscape evolves, Green AI principles continue to inform our technology choices and responsible innovation practices.
5. Continuous Learning AI isn’t static — and neither are we. Our methodologies are reviewed regularly against emerging ethical standards, policy developments including the EU AI Act, and direct client feedback.
